On Wednesday, November 7 Life Time announced the men’s and women’s rosters for the 2025 Life Time Grand Prix series.

The fourth edition of the off-road race series features the most diverse panel of participants yet, with a mix of returning veterans and first-timers. The 2025 lineup is the most international yet, with 12 countries represented across the men’s and women’s fields and over a third of the selected athletes originating from outside the U.S.

Nearly half of the men’s field is made up of international riders, including three-time Traka 360 winner Mattia De Marchi (Italy), ex-UCI WorldTour road pro Lawrence Naesen (Belgium), and 10-time Ethiopian national champion Tsgabu Grmay.

Three-time Grand Prix champ Keegan Swenson will also return, joined by Matt Beers and Payson McElveen, 2024’s second and third place overall finishers.

Over two-thirds (68 percent) of the women’s field is made up of returning Life Time Grand Prix athletes, including defending champion Sofia Gomez Villafañe and all of the top-10 finishers from the 2024 series.

Six female riders are set to make their Life Time Grand Prix debuts in 2025, including France’s Cécile Lejeune, who placed second at this year’s Tucson Bicycle Classic; reigning Australian gravel champion, Courtney Sherwell; and Annabel Fisher (Great Britain), winner of the 2024 Octopus Gravel.

The final three spots in each field will be filled following the completion of Sea Otter Classic Gravel and Unbound Gravel. Within the application for the Grand Prix, athletes stated whether or not they would want to be part of the wildcard pool if not selected for the series.

Those athletes must contest both events, and the top three performers from the pool of selected ‘wild card’ athletes will earn a spot in the 2025 series.

Additionally, should an athlete within the selected 22 athletes drop out of the series between now and Unbound Gravel, their spot will be filled by a wildcard athlete.

Here are the 2025 athletes:
