    Worlds best protein powder
This is the first protein powder I’ve ever liked. Most of them are sickly sweet and filled with disgusting stevia and sucralose. This one has a delightful chocolate flavor and just a hint of sweetness. If you’re used to how sweet other powders are, I can see how it might seem bland, but I think it’s perfect. I mix it with fairlife milk for even more protein and use a blender bottle. It mixes well and even gets a bit of froth. I do recommend putting the milk in first so powder doesn’t get stuck in the corners. Every night I really look forward to my protein shake. The container is a bit huge and obnoxious especially the 5lb since it’s not filled all the way. i have small hands and it’s difficult to open. It’s also a bit expensive but I still think it’s worth it for how good it tastes, the clean ingredients, and the quality.

Reading reviews are important. Clean Taste!
I’m glad j read the reviews before I purchased the chocolate flavor, because I would have been taken aback by it otherwise. It’s not sweet at all, which I am totally in love with. I have a hard time finding protein powders that aren’t sickly sweet. This one definitely tastes like a slightly sweeter cacao flavor. It blends really, really well in my Helix shaker cup and with a normal blender ball cup. No issues with clumping, and it’s awesome mixed with coffee.

Excellent Product But Inaccurate Serving Size On Label
*UPDATE:It has been a few weeks and I still haven’t receive and a response let alone any acknowledgment of the product label issue from Naked Nutrition. It is a bit of a letdown as I really enjoy the product and their customer service appears to be nonexistent. I’ll continue to use this product for now until I find something equivalent or better to replace it with. It doesn’t sit right with me that they have basically ignored my concerns. Before I address the serving size issue that I discovered in this product, I want to mention my thoughts on this great product. The Naked Whey Chocolate 1lb product is the best tasting whey protein (& ease to mix) product that I have tried so far. And believe me, I have tried many over the last 10 years or so. The Chocolate flavor of this product comes from the cacao powder and coconut sugar. It is a very light chocolatey taste that is not overpowering and provides just enough flavor to get the product down without leaving behind an undesirable aftertaste that sometimes comes with other products that use artificial ingredients/sucralose. Some people have said in reviews on here that its not flavorful enough – well lemme tell you – a protein shake isn’t a dessert. It isn’t meant to be a milkshake from In N Out. Its a nutritional product to help you reach your training goals. I’d also say that the flavor and mixing is greatly dependent on how much product you combine with what proportion of water. I combine 2 servings (76g of powder) with 15oz of water (or 38g of powder to 7-8oz of water). That has been the perfect ratio for me for chocolate. Try it and I think you’ll be happy with it. But ultimately it does come down to personal preference.Mixing wise, I haven’t experienced any lumps at all. The product (using my powder to water ratio) is super smooth after shaking it. My technique for shaking the bottle (and avoiding lumps) is to turn it upside down immediately after I add the water – slap the bottom of the bottle to allow the powder on the bottom to release into the water – and shake the bottle for a while upside down before finishing shaking right side up. I let the bottle sit for about 30-45 minutes at room temperature so that all of the frothy foam can settle down. Meanwhile I go about my workout during this time period, and afterwards I have liquid gold. The mistake that people make is that they shake the bottle right side up the entire time and the bottom of the bottle where the powder is gets stuck there. Also people try to drink the shake immediately with all of the frothy foam present which makes for an unpleasant experience. Honestly the directions on the product label should explain some of these best practices. But anywho, so to get to the serving size issue. I recently brought this to the attention of Naked Nutrition a few days ago and I am still awaiting a response. But I have noticed that in the Naked Whey 1lb (Chocolate) the serving size is way off when using 2 scoops with the included scooper. I love this product but in my experiment testing the accuracy of the nutrition’s facts label serving size using the included scooper, I found that a true serving size (2 scoops) weighed 58g instead of 38g. I have included a photo showing this. I used two different scales zeroing out the weight with an empty container. I put one LEVELED OFF scoop into a container and it registered 29g. I added a 2nd LEVELED OFF scoop and the total weight was 58g. The nutrition label listed serving size for 2 scoops is 38g. That means that the true weight of a 2 scoop serving size is 20g higher than what your company has listed. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) allows for nutrition facts on the label to be off the mark by no more than 20% of the listed value. However 58g represents a value that is 52.62% higher than the label listed serving size of 38g. Also if the true serving size (using their scooper) is this off, that also means that the servings per container is incorrect as well. Additionally, I LEVELED OFF each scoop whereas the directions on the product label advise to “Add two ROUNDED scoops of Naked Whey to 6-10 oz of water…” If I had followed the product directions and ROUNDED each scoop, the true serving size would have been higher than 58g. Therefore, the product directions also need some adjustment. I am not sure if the included scooper in this product is the culprit. Or whether the listed serving size is a miscalculation that the company has made failing to properly account for the density and volume of this product given the added coconut sugar and cacao powder within the protein powder. I have come across a number of reviews on Amazon and other sites that show customers complaining that they seemed to go through the product much faster than the number of servings listed on the label. In my opinion, this is clearly why. Those customers either did not have a food scale at home or even think that the serving size would be inaccurate. While this inaccuracy is annoying since you’d have to use a food scale to get very accurate serving sizing per shake, the product itself is rock solid.

All natural with no unspecified ingredients.
Really 4.5. First, some caveats. No matter how soluble or “easy mixing” a protein drink claims to be, I always use a blender. Manually shaking any powder will always make me gak. I use a “milk shake” capable blender, with ice crushing, so it has the consistency of a thick shake. I typically mix it with water and sometimes with milk. The taste is ok, not good or bad, I hesitate to use the word bland; it can more accurately be described as subtle. No points taken off for this, since it is so subjective, and I have tasted other protein drinks that are terrible tasting. I like the fact that it has only a few ingredients, and does not have “natural and artificial” flavors as most of the other brands. Those brands rarely specify the exact “natural and artificial” flavors, so you never know what you get. To get it to taste better, I add a tablespoon of organic drinking chocolate. This gives it more flavor, and it goes from OK to very good tasting. The big negative is the size and shape of the container. This led to a “get that ugly thing out of my kitchen” reaction, so I was constrained to keeping it in the garage or basement… unless… I decanted it into a more “girly” container. I chose to do this, and found out that there is no way to neatly transfer the powder to another more aesthetic container. The shape of the mouth, combined with the texture of the powder makes neat transfer impossible, even scoop by scoop, since there is always some spillage when taking it out, especially when down towards the bottom. There is no way to get deep down, even turning it on the side, and no way to use a funnel, too cakey. When transferring I used to get the “look at this mess you made” angry stare; I want to say that it is “your” fault for making me transfer the powder, but this would probably not be conducive to my long term happiness, so I wisely keep my mouth shut. This led me to creating my own funnel, shown in the attached photos. I purchased some collapsing, wide mouth funnels from Amazon. I cut a hole in the cover of the protein drink, and glued the funnel on to the cover with food-grade adhesive. This worked well for a few days, until the glue gave out, causing quite a mess. So in iteration 2, I not only glued the funnel, but put a nut and bolt to hold it tight. Now I can transfer the powder without any mess. It has been solid for months now.In conclusion, the only negative is the price and the shape of the container. They now have a smaller container, but the price is a lot more. The positives are an ok tasting product with natural, listed ingredients with no unspecified “natural and artificial” contents. Additionally, it supports small businesses.

I love this protein powder! If you do not like the taste of typical protein powder—the “protein-y taste”—this is the protein powder for you. The vanilla flavor tastes just like melted vanilla ice cream, making it a delicious treat rather than a chore to consume. It blends smoothly with no chalky texture, which is a huge plus. I’ve tried many protein powders, and this one stands out not only for its taste but also for its high-quality ingredients and excellent nutritional profile. Whether I’m mixing it with water, milk, or adding it to smoothies, it consistently tastes amazing. If you’re looking for a protein powder that you’ll actually look forward to drinking, this is the one to try!

Product is good but I have a challenge in mixing it:- it creates clumps very easily on whatever I try to use to mix it ( be it spoon or electric frosted)- when I use electric powered protein mixer it generates a lot of foam

  7. Carlos

Recieved the protein. Taste is good for natural flavour, I can add any flavour to my taste as i like this way.Had some delivery issues, not the vendors fault, but vendor did a great job in reponding and sent another very quickly. Great customer service

I would rate this Protein Powder a solid 5/5 stars. Easily digestible with no BS added. I have tried plenty of other brands, and by far this one tops the chart. It’s a bit expensive but, you really do get what you pay for. The solubility isn’t the best but, it works great in oatmeal for breakfast. Quick, convenient, and only 3 ingredients. Definitely worth a try if you’re an avid gym goer, or just trying to up your protein intake in general.
