surprisingly good
i took a chance on this brand because it was on sale. i have to say the taste is nice and not overwhelming. but the main thing is how well it mixes with water. probably even better than optimum nutrition. i have a near-daily shake consisting of 20oz water, 2 scoops protein powder, 2 scoops costco fiber powder (optifiber). then use hand-mixer with whisk attachment for about 20-30 seconds. very pleased with results. i probably wouldn’t rebuy if it’s not on sale tho but i’m a very frugal shopper. would easily recommend this if it’s in your budget.

Old protein smell at first but then good
The first dozen scoops from the top tasted like old protein, and I’m thinking it was due to some sort of storage issue… Think of leaving your protein container out for a few days, and that terrible smell that exists. It wasn’t to that extent but you could tell there was a slight smell to it at first. As soon as I used up the top layer of protein, that smell immediately went away and the protein was normal.

Taste good mixes well
My number one gripe with most proteins is mixing. This stuff mixes very throughly and you don’t get that clumpy effect. I typically put mine in the blender and make smoothies and it mixes up awesome with all the other ingredients. It’s taste alone as well is smooth and doesn’t have that bitter snap to it like some protein powders

Great product
I’ve been using this product for several years now. I had to make a few adaptations — for instance, mixing it in 8 oz of water to prevent lumps — but find it to meet my needs at a lower price than many other brands. The jug contains enough powder to give you 69 single scoop servings with 24g of protein in each. I use 1.5 scoops twice daily (36g protein), so it lasts me just over 3 weeks. Another brand I tried only had 21 double scoop servings at 27g protein, and cost more. If you’re on a budget, this is a great deal.

Good for price but flavor chocolate flavor is not strong.
Solid product and would by again because of the price. Only concern is that the flavor is not very strong – at least for the chocolate one. If you’re someone who likes to blend the protein with other ingredients etc. you can hardly taste the chocolate in it.
