Redshift Sports has made its name solving problems that few (if any) brands have solved previously. Think drop bars with ergonomic grips built into them, pedals with built-in lights, and bars that rise far above any other drop handlebar around. Consider this new Redshift Top Shelf Handlebar Bag and additional versions of their drop bars to add to the list of funky products that solve real-world problems.
There are three new and updated products to note. There’s a new Top Shelf handlebar bag that works perfectly with Redshift’s Topshelf bars, which we first saw at Sea Otter Classic this year. But what I’m most excited about is the new narrower and lower-flare options for their drop bars.
Top Shelf Handlebar Bag

The Redshift Top Shelf Handlebar Bag is designed to mount securely to Redshift’s Top Shelf Handlebars. The bag attaches using dual straps that fasten to the double-bar construction, providing a stable solution for carrying gear. Redshift says the bag has reinforced side panels, preventing any movement during the ride. Further, it features a magnetically secured, self-closing lid that allows for single-handed access. Two side zippers add extra security for contents when riding over rough terrain.
The bag has a 1.75-liter capacity, which can accommodate essentials such as clothing, multiple tubes, tools, and snacks. A padded phone pocket and additional interior pockets help keep items organized and protected. There is also an optional bike computer mount that goes atop the bag which places the device in front of the stem for optimal visibility.
Redshift’s new Top Shelf bag retails for $89.99 USD (£89.99, €104.99, $159.99 AUD), with a discount available when bundled with handlebars.
New Low Flare & Narrow Width Top Shelf & Kitchen Sink Handlebars

Folks who wanted a lower-flare version of both the Top Shelf and Kitchen Sink handlebars, your time has come. The new low-flare versions feature a 10-degree flare at the drops, compared to the original 25-degree flare of both handlebars. The low flare maintains the same shallow drop, back sweep, and rise as the 25-degree version, but is designed for road and gravel riders who prefer less flare in the handlebar drop.
This option is expected to cater to cyclists looking for a more road-style configuration while still offering the comfort and control provided by the original design.
Redshift offers the Top Shelf and Kitchen Sink bars with the loop up front for $139.99 USD/£139.99/ €164.99/$249.99 AUD. Skip the loop component up front for $99.99/£99.99/€114.99/$179.99 AUD.

The big news for folks like me is a new 41cm ‘narrow’ width across all its handlebar models in both flare options. This addition allows more riders to use the Top Shelf and Kitchen Sink handlebars, which were previously available in wider sizes only. The new 41 cm width complements the existing sizes of 44 cm, 47 cm, 50 cm, and 53 cm, accommodating a range of preferences for road, gravel, bikepacking, and commuting purposes.
Folks blessed (or cursed, depending on your perspective) now have a range of options from Redshift.
Stay tuned for our review of the 41 cm wide Top Shelf bar and bar bag to come. Find out more from redshiftsports.com.
